The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon received today credentials presented by fourteen newly appointed Ambassadors to Tajikistan at the Palace of the Nation.
The Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al – Bady, of the Republic of Turkey, Ali Rifat Koksal, of France, Ms. Yasmin Gouedard, of Italy, Andrea Bertozzi, of the Republic of Austria, Gerhard Sailler, of Netherlands, Dirk Jan Kop, of Greece, Andreas Friganas, of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Siro, of the Swiss Confederation, Urs Schmid, of the Vatican, Francis Assisi Chullikatt, of the Republic of Moldova, Dumitru Bragish, of the Republic of Korea, Kwon Young-Woo, of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Madzhibul Rahman Buiyan and Ambassador of New Zealand, Ian Alexander Hill presented their letters of credence and conveyed greetings from the leadership of their countries to the President of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, having congratulated the heads of diplomatic missions for officially assuming their office in Tajikistan, highlighted that Tajikistan has established effective and mutually beneficial bilateral and multilateral political, economic and trade, cultural and humanitarian relations with various countries of the world, and, based on that, gives priority attention to the development of multifaceted relations with the countries of the Arab world, Europe, Southeast Asia and South Asia, as well as CIS countries.
It was expressed confidence that the newly appointed ambassadors would take efforts to promote further expansion of cooperation between their countries and Tajikistan and make a worthy contribution to the development and deepening of friendly interstate relations
Holding the 11th Joint Commission in trade, economic, technical and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran
On November 7-8 of this year the 11th Joint Commission in trade, economic, technical and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in Tehran, Iran.
The Presidency of the official delegations in this Joint Commission in trade, economic, technical and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran were the responsibility of H.E. Mr. Usmonali Usmonzoda, the Minister of the Energy and water resources of the Republic of Tajikistan and H.E. Mr. Hamid Chitchian, the Minister of energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During two days, both sides studied the issues on Strengthening coordination in the fields of trade and economy, transport and communication, water and energy, education and culture, completion of the field of Bidding and legal Documents and other aspects of the ties of two countries.Read more...
On the October17 of this year, in the sideline of the seventh meeting of the Council of the leaders of customs offices and third meeting of customs experts subcommittee of the member states of Economic Cooperation Organization(ECO) (October 17-19, Tehran) , the meeting of Mr. Khurshed Karimzoda - First Deputy of the Director General of the Customs Service of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Nematullo Emomzoda - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran with the head of Customs of Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Mr. Massoud Karbassian was held.
Meanwhile the meeting , both parties were studied development and strengthening bilateral cooperation issues in the areas of electronic exchange of statistical information, training and exchange of expertise and enabling the growth of economic - trade relations.Read more...
